Unfortuantely, it is true. They are talking about James' Golgo beast.

My car had an unfortunate turn this morning and may not be entering the dyno comp. Technical difficulties have lead to another 11th hour attempt to iron things out before moving the car into Jeff's Shed this afternoon.

lol does this mean that dave's gonna be havin panic attacks this year as well? :D

Dude, I've been panicing for the last 2 weeks trying to organise the Fang Artists and coordinating everything with James. A non functional car is the least of my problems at the moment :D

Guess RB26s weren't designed to make the same power as light aircraft :D

Ahhh dude...., I gotta say you're slightly overestimating even the newest of light aircraft there.

The brand new Cessna Skyhawk, despite being one of the most modern, single prop driven, piston engined light cairraft in production, only runs 160 BHP at 2,400 RPM.

In fact its big brother, the Cessna Turbo Skylane doesn't run much more at 235 BHP at 2,400 RPM

So your car is actually a vastly superior performance machine.

As long as it stays on the ground

    • I used to do that, but then I got savvy. The benefits of having your phone photos geotagged outweigh the negatives. I just don't publish any photo straight off the phone/out of the gallery/off google photos, etc. If I'm going to use a photo, other than for SMSing to fam, I will always open it on the computer, copy it/otherwise edit it and save down without the original metadata, before using it. For example, posting photos of my engine bay into a thread on here, to show someone a plug or something - I will just screen-cap the section I want to use and paste that section direct from the clipboard into the post. No metadata goes along with.
    • Yes, so it won't work for places with no photos on the net. I would have said that there are no photos of the inside of my house on the net, but....then I realised that my kids' parties would have had bazzillions of photos of the living spaces, kitchen etc put on insta and other shitmedia. So... you can see how insidious it is.
    • Whomever is stalking me will need to deal with a few of these, so my safety is "assured"
    • It's not any meta data. They have scraped images from everywhere, and then use AI to compare your photo to other photos and work out where you are.
    • I just looked at my camera phone settings, apparently I have "not allowed" for location  Will that stop that app?
