Drl Install

Hi Guys

I purchased phillips style DRLs and was going through the install.

Wanted to ask soemone who is electrically minded a couple of things.

It has 2 wires that go to the battery terminals. Another 3 that are labelled steering (+), fog lamp (+) and small lamp (+). These are all coming out from a relay box.

It says "lamps will be automatically turned on when you start your car, and will automatically turn off when you turn on your usual headlights" in the install sheet.

**My Question is, if I only connected it up to the battery, will the DR lights stay on even if the usual headlights are on? Or would this mean the lights will stay on even if the car is turned off?

I would like them to stay on all the time and only turn off when I switch the igntion off. What would I need to do?
