Picked up new batch today.

Only change is the outer hole slots have been extended to suit GTT. Note: for the GTT it wont sit flat on the floor like it does in other Skylines but is still solid.

Just got mine.

The new batch fits perfect, but due to size of my extinguisher, it was in the way of sliding the chair fully forward. I slightly modified it (I bashed it with a mallet) to make it sit lower and it cleared my seat without a problem.

The bracket itself

I flattend it a bit to clear my seat rails

Nice work Ricky ^

Note to other readers this mod to the bracket is not required on any other skylines or Silvias only on R34 GT and GTT because they have a different floor pan.

If there was say 10 x R34 GT or GTT owners who wanted brackets I could get a special batch done without that bend that Ricky flattened?

seat bolt holes are slotted so max 461mm min 421mm center to center, max bolt dia 12mm. inner bolt is approx 20mm higher than the outer.

Pics in this thread will give you a good idea how it goes together.

I'm very happy with how this went into my S15.

Thanks Joe.

Have you guys gone over or under your seat rails with it - does it matter either way?

Hi Tinto, looks like you have heaps of room there. pretty serious seat + 5 pt harness btw :woot:

whether it goes over or under depends on how the seat seat rails are formed at the bolt holes. They tend to have a formed lip either up or down. My car has them down so bracket goes on top but whatever works for your car is okay. main thing is that the seat bolts can still get plenty of thread engadged and you can get them nice and tight. minimum 3-4 full turns of thread should be okay. other wise you may need to get longer bolts. also bolts need flanged heads or use a washer.

I know some after market seats have levers etc at the front which may be an issue.

:( i'm running Bride Cuga's and my lovely bracket won't fit anymore due to the lever at the front of the seat controller front/back movement.

Not sure if this will be an issue for any Bride rail setup
