To the pics for Day 1:

First up the Land Cruiser.

Starting with a Foaming, wash, and decontamination with Iron-X.

Plenty of contamination and sap built up on the body

As this car is used to carry the dog and as an all round vehicle the interior wasnt in the best condition as you can see.

Seal marks, I used Bowdens Own Vinyl Care to take care of this

Interior After not perfect but a hell of alot better!

Exterior after.

Being white and just wanting it brought up better I used a white CCS with 106 on the Flex VRG 3401 followed by a Black CCS and Bowdens Own Body Cleaner.

Wax used was Swissvax Glacier x2 coats

"Iron X by CarPro is an acid-free, pH-balanced iron remover that decontaminates auto paint and wheels."

"Airborne chemical compounds and ferrous (iron-containing) particles penetrate auto paint and create corrosive compounds that eat into the paint's sublayers. Detailing clay removes the particles but it doesn't remove their effects - corrosion may already be creeping under the paint's surface.

The only way to truly remove ferrous particles is with a dedicated iron remover like Iron X. Iron X opens up the paint's pores to release iron particles and to neutralize the caustic compounds that have developed as a result of the particle. In one step, you can eliminate the cause and its effects. Put an immediate stop to paint damage before it's too late."

ahh I see, so Iron X could also replace clay barring? that would be lovely, clay barring is soo tedious!

might pick up some along with some Bowdens wash solution, i just love how it looks when its foaming all over the car

It can but it cant lol, it wont remove non ferrous particles and materials as a clay bar does so good to use them together iron-x foolowed by claying. ye bowdens products are GREAT

ah thats a shame, well it sounds like another good product to use! ill add that into my detailing procedure for next time i think!

remember you dont want to clay and use iron-x on paint often6 monthly or 12 monthly as it removes al your previous wax and sealant, unless you are re applying all fresh again.

yeah I barely clay anymore since the cars sealed up and washed frequently enough so that the contaminants dont bond

i need to invest in a foam lance .. it just looks awesome to foam the car LOL

Foaming and Iron-X are my two favorite things in the wash process now lol must be my inner kid.

Reason I ask is the daily drivers wheels need some love - badly, and if you reckon this stuff works, i'll give it a go

Just noticed, the concrete where you use this, has it been stained? Have you tried it on grass? I dont care about the grass (as long as it grows back) but the concrete is another story

Best wheel cleaner and paint decontamination EVER!

As for concrete it doesnt stain or affect it at all not even my father sandstone driveway! as for grass not affect ever.

Iron-X is PH neutral with a rating of pH 6-7 so its fine
