I've just purchased a relatively stock R34 GT-T. Does this mean it doesn't come with a factory immobilser or alarm?

I do believe there was a factory/dealer optioned alarm - but it does not meet Australian standards and should be replaced.

Certainly most R34's do not even come with that. Your first point of call after buying a skyline should be comprehensive insurance and getting an alarm/immobilizer that fits Australian Standards as a matter of urgency.

Jenna is right , the factory alarm , in all cases is worthless . only some series 2 GTT have them or GTR later models but wont stop anyone

find a ADR approved alarm , asap, dont delay and get FULL comprehensive insurance now !!!

use common sence not to leave your baby alone on the street or overnight in a bad spot, in the morning you will find it gone !!! or on the news in a hispeed ram raid ? then burnt to a crisp.

buy a club lock too, everyting to stop them works, even if it just delays them another min they move on to easier cars to nick.

your car stock is just as big of target for joy riders or thieves. dont be fooled
