Where would you get a r34 gtr shell with no engine or gearbox? I already have a good engine and a few gear boxes. Would it make a huge difference to price on one with no engine or gearbox. Any feedback and suggestions much appreciated.

finding one with no engine or box will be near on impossible. finding one with a blown engine might be easier. they won't be dramatically cheaper though (will be cheaper, but not 1/3 of the price of a running one for example).

to be honest mate, buying a GTR would just be an easier option, incorporating all the other things like putting everything together.

as mad082 said, it would be almost impossible to actually find an empty shell.

it would be better to either sell the rb26 and buy a gtr, or start a project possibly in a VL or something.

Buying an r34 gtr with a tired/old/blown engine/gearbox would be your best bet, then just subbing in your parts.
