I purchased this vehicle from the owner of Just Jap Imports in Kirawee who is a die-hard Evo fan and import enthusiast.

Older and worn parts were rebuilt, replaced and replenished with no expense spared.

The car has been meticulously cared for and like all my vehicles, the interior steam cleaned washed and waxed every 5000kms.

Performance wise, the engine is in top condition (any mechanical inspection welcome).

It runs perfectly without any leaks, smoke, ticking, misfiring or hiccups what so ever.

Fuel consumption averages 10.5L per 100km around suburban traffic and city congestion.

Very punchy, quick and satisfying to drive.

I guarantee you this car will not disappoint.

Ideal for a family of four or for anybody who has always wanted a modern Lancer Evolution with the convenience of Automatic self-shifting transmission.

It is also ideal for the individual with performance and economy in mind, or for someone who needs the extra seating space combined with the high performance of a legendary rally car all rolled into one.

Condition: Interior is pristine condition. No fade, rips, cigarette burns, threading or stains.

Whilst driving there are no creaky noises or rattling from in cabin.

Body wise, there is no rust or damage. The clear coat is intact, glossy and the paint has been freshly restored by Proline Paint and Panel in Five Dock, New South Wales.

I urge you to view this vehicle in bright light and during the day to judge its condition for yourself.

Contact: 0432 0400 10

Vehicle is located in Strathfield, New South Wales

Call or SMS any time if you would like to organise an inspection and test drive.

Strictly: No time wasters, jet pilots or groups of rowdy people with baseball caps.

I will decline any test drive or inspection if I feel you are not a genuine buyer.

Vehicle has been advertised on other enthusiast websites and car clubs.

Plates are included with vehicle.

If vehicle is purchased for full asking price I will also include an upgrade Evolution 8 MR turbo and a Grimmspeed 3-port boost solenoid.

    • It's something we all have to consider as time marches on. Also consider lifted rally MX5 conversion at that point.
    • I should be fine for a few more years, whilst I do have arthritis I also exercise and do mobility training every day to keep as fit and healthy as I can, military life, which is the actual cause of most of my joint issues, has set daily regimes, which I weirdly enjoy I also train alot smarter now, not really focusing on lots strength or puffy muscles, I'm more focused on maintaining what I have for my future older self, I actually train as much mobility now as I do exercising Check out this "simple" drill I have been doing daily prior to training now for a while now, this has worked wonders in my all round mobility
    • I'd say one thing that may make you sell is the same reason the guy with the hard top roof sold his. He got old, and his back was giving him too much grief stopping him getting in and out... Old guy said he was 73! He looked and sounded younger than 73 to me! Or maybe I'm just aligning with old people more...
    • Already looked at a few prior to getting the MX5, really nice car, had all the mod cons, but I wasn't really sold on the new "look" I did miss my 2017 Limited, and I personally prefer the "look" of the older car over the new model, but, when pondering I kept going back looking at MX5's But it was same same for the new ND's, I wasn't sold on the new "look", especially the RF with its weird roof, which only half goes down, like a targa top sort of thing As I stated before, I did look at NC's, but the cars I looked at were PRHT's, but I didn't like their roof line "look" of the PRHT, until I saw the soft top version, (someone on SAU posted a for sale ad for one with a soft top that caught my attention, you can blame them for my choice.....🤣) and.... that old style detachable hard tops were available for them, which keeps the old MX5 more smoother flowing roof line, and the more rounded body style, similar to the NA-NB, to me, the arse end of the ND looks to "modern" Much like how I prefer the NC1 front bar, over the later models How long will I keep this car for is unknown, but currently, there's nothing else out there that "floats my boat" for a small, fun, little "sports car", that I can play with and enjoy looking at and driving But, who knows what the future holds, and going off current new car styling, if I replace it, it will be a older model something something
