Electrical problem

I just put in a new battery and had some other work done on exhaust and intercooler and now nothing works. Stereo, headlights and alarm do, but SAFC, fuel pump, windows, indicators, sun roof, turbotimer, etc don't. Car just cranks but won't fire. I've checked all fuses and as much wiring as i can see and its obviously not the battery, but i can't figure out what the problem is. Any ideas?

Check the fusable link hanging directly off the battery +ve hasn't pooped itself.

check the earth one from the crank, try.

blind_elk, a couple of people have said something about a fusable link to me but i'm not sure what that is. can you explain what i should be looking for?
