Time has finally come to move on my 1995 R33 GT-R. Due to not having the time these days to enjoy it I’m putting it for sale for somebody else to experience the satisfaction I have had over the years. If you are looking for a cheap GT-R I will suggest you stop reading on, this is not a clapped out car that has done over 150,000kms with average paint work and minimal mods. This car has had a sh!tload of money, time and development thrown at it, with a goal of having a fast track car that can be enjoyed on the street without unwanted attention and look like it just drove out of the showroom. If this interests you READ ON!

HISTORY OF THE CAR:

I bought this car back in 2002, and was chosen after 6 months of searching due to the strict criteria I was after. It was completely stock, except for some 18 inch wheels and TEIN HA coilovers. Performance wise it was all factory, including airbox and exhaust. The car was inspected by a qualified panel beater to make sure it hadn’t been involved in an accident, in which it passed with flying colours. I am the first owner in Australia and the car had 58,000km on it.

Over the years the car has undergone a full rebuild regarding the driveline, suspension and brakes by the infamous Ben from Racepace Motorsport with the goal of being a quick track car without sacrificing the comfort and driveability of a street car. In fact this car was a development car with Ben’s own R33 GT-R for Racepace Motorsport, where it underwent many changes to get the best result. This resulted in the car doing a 1:18.7 (back in 2007) at Sandown, making it one of the fastest street registered, full trim, low mount turboed GT-R’s in VIC. The car was retired from track duties in 2008, where the engine was rebuilt and since has done around 500km of street driving. The front of the car including the bonnet, front guards, grille, front bar, front lip, side skirts and rear bar were resprayed due to the ‘battle scars’ after 2 years of solid track days. I have driven the car four times in the last 2 years, and it is now in storage collecting dust due to my business and family commitments. Aswell as being a quick track car this car has attended many shows in it’s lifetime, where it has won many trophies along the way. It had been deemed ‘Best R33 GT-R’ 3 years running with the SAU VIC club show’n’shine, a testament to the quality of the exterior and the tasteful (and minimal) appearance mods.

Anyway, here are some details on the car.

If you have any doubts or want to find out about the condition of the car other than contacting myself you can contact Chris from Racepace Motorsport to confirm condition or any performance related enquiries.

The car would have done around 70,000km by now, not exactly sure as I replaced the original dash with a Nismo item a few years back. The engine bay looks stock besides the Racepace catch can which has been painted black, cam covers and twin turbo pipe have also been freshly painted in black, also runs a standard airbox. The car truly is a remarkable street car and with the quiet twin custom exhaust you don’t have the fear of being pulled over by the boys in blue every time you take it for a drive. Focus on keeping it looking and sounding as standard as possible was high priority when building this car.

PRICE: $37000 ono

The car is currently located in Narre Warren North in VIC, inspections are welcome but please no tyre kickers, this is a unique car and is a bargain for the money invested and with a fresh motor to boot.

PM or reply here if interested.

Here are some pics, will provide more in the next few days...

NOOOOOO say it ain't so :(

Can vouch for this car...amazing looks and condition as well as performance thats proven on the track.

This car should be selling for double the asking price and is an absolute steal!

Good luck with the sale mate

Cheers for the comments guys, it really has been a great car, gonna be hard to see her drive away into the sunset....

Forgot to mention the car will come with a RWC, I have a standard bonnet also, although it is white.

If new owner does not want the Z-TUNE bonnet I will get the standard bonnet painted in silver.

I have quite a bit of interest in the aftermarket bonnet, will see how it goes but will remain on the car for now...

End of an era...want to swap for a Cossie :)

End of an era indeed, almost a decade!!! Cossie would be nice, if I had time to enjoy it... :whistling:

MOAR PICS

Though I don't think it has the Alcons any more.

Awesome pics Jarrod! Hope you didn't mind me using one here.... Will talk to you about getting a high res one for a poster I want for memories....

no alcons, cause I bought them. :P

Thanks LTHLRB and NickR33, appreciate the comments...

Mikeyz, will get some up very soon, but there's not much too see, looks standard except for catch can and alloy radiator, although it does have the R34 GTR NUR emblem cover and Nismo oil and radiator caps.

Oh, and forgot to mention in the original post it also has a Bosch 040 in tank pump and tinted windows.....

Awesome price for someone looking for a well sorted and mint condition GTR.

All the headaches (not to mention the associated $'s) have been addressed by one of the most reputable workshops in Aus and fussiest owner too and that's not very common with many GTR's out there for sale.

Good luck with the sale. New owner should be over the moon with their purchase.
