Radio Tuning for R33 SII

HELP! I've just bought a GTS25T SII and I can't tune the radio??? The stations only go up to 90.0Mhz How do I get around this, or is this a Japanese standard with their radio tuners??

you need to buy a FM expander and get it fitted to your stereo. It will allow you to get australian frequencies on your Jap deck. Ask at any car stereo shop.

I think its a better idea to just by a whole new deck, you will end up doing it sooner or later anyway.

'Cept an FM expander is like $25 bux while a whole new deck is $200+. Plus, if you want to sell the old deck later, it's more appealing to a potential buyer if i receives FM....

yeah get a new head unit and an expander. if you have a jap based head unit then it wont go over 90hkz even with an adapter as far as i know. the headunit only does 70 to 90 and then when you have an aus based head unit, the aeriel plug is different so you need an adapter plug

you can get new pioneers with like 200 with fairly good stuff on them

the jap head unit is prboably fairly average. japs seem to have good cars, only thinkg lacking is the head units

and they always take them out!!! even from like 1989 r32 skylines, they'd be so old and crap!!!!
