What Sensor Is This?

1) Can someone tell me what the sensor in the red box is for?

2) The oil pressure sender is not in my wiring diagram for the rb30 - Can anyone confirm that the the oil pressure sensor is located driver side, mid rear bottom of the block with a large soft rubber boot?

Can't see the pic but yes for the oil pressure sender.

Looks like a typical idle control motor..

The oil pressure sender is next to starter motor on the offside towards rear.

in fact, its the only sensor on that side of the block. If you unscrew it, it will leed to a hole in the block, often 80% blocked with sludge.
