Can't Get Rb20Det Oil Filter Out Of Bay!

Hi everybody, probably missing something but, I can't seem to get the oil filter on my rb20det out of the engine bay. Came off no trouble but had to put the bloody thing back on again lol. Any help would be appreciated, it just doesn't seem to fit anywhere! Cheers beys

what car is the 20 in? if its a 32 then its a prick of a job, i got mine out past the intake manifold with every hose clamp on the way trying to scratch the crap outta me

Really? I had the furl filter bracket off and everything and just kept looking at it saying "this couldn't be right" about 50 thousand times lol. Anyone else got an easier way than me and steve?

even more fun if you still have the HICAS taking up space in the engine bay,there was no way i was going to get it out past the engine from underneath, i was able to get it out behind the intake manifold near the brake booster

I got mine out between the strut tower and the intake manifold. Was squeezy but it just fit.
