Diff Ratio Suggestion For Conversion.

im about to star fitting an rb25det neo and box to a vk commodore, what diff ratio will i need for a fast street car, not concerned with economy or cruising but dont want to go over board either.

Bear in mind the bommodore is only arounf 1200 kg so its already lighter than the 1600+ stage the engine came from

Can't help you out with the question, but do you have a build log? I love older Holdens, last car was a VH and I loved it. Sounds like it'll be a fun car when finished.

4.11s or 3.9s

Any lower and it'll feel lazy.

ive always gone straight to 4.11s so thanks . dont have a build log as yet, dunno if i will. i hope to fit the rear cradle from my wrecked stagea and brembos allround too but no idea how long i will take.

i have a vl turbo with rb25det and r33 box with the 345 gears it feels so lazy so the next mod is going to be 411s so trust me dont go any lower than 39s

do you know how to get 4.11s for eg. for the holden borg warner diff for the time being?

you can buy them check out a bloke on ebay called vicmelboz he sells them. pintara's had a borgwarner diff with 4.11s as standard or even go onto calaisturbo.com.au heaps for sale on there
