lol you girls and losing it, generalising yes but if the shoe fits...

I know that feel, I can't squat or DL anything, but I'm not that stressed about it because there's a bit more to life than what I can squat or DL. I'm staying active and healthy and I'm not a fat kent so why stress.

IF I had a really important goal in mind or something I'd care more, but I'm chilling a bit now.

Not saying you should too, just chucking in my 2 cents and spamming Fig's thread.

worst feeling for me in regards to failing was in MMA

had a fight, worked my arse off for 6 months leading into it, weights, diet, trainning everything

get in the ring, in the first round, take a elbow to the face reff stops the fight due to cut

that broke me down bad, was so hard to return to trainning

Now that's pretty rough.

You need to sandpaper your face or something and make your skin tougher...

haha, just got me a good one is all.

was ok we had another bout a few months later and i dealt with him. So that made up for it

nothing makes up for the 16 year old putting a beating on me when i was 22 though....................

Have you seen some 16yr olds today dude? They scare me.

I know that feel though, I did a tourny in Melbourne years back (MMA wasn't around back then in Aus this was freestyle martial arts).

Supposed to be none contact at that skill level, guy kicks me in the balls TWICE, not an accident. Lifts me off the canvas on the second go. So after I got my nuts out of my throat I broke his nose next point.

Mates cheered, and I never washed the blood off the mitts.

Good times were had by all. If not for the cup, I would not have a daughter...

hehe, yeah well that particular 16 year old I am keeping an eye out for in the future

if he decides to give up all the other shit he does and just focus on MMA or boxing or kick boxing, he will go far. Best ammature I ever trained with and faught.

I weigh all of 50kgs.. :/ Have since high school..

I am now 22 and still my weight won't budge :(

I do Muay Thai, but only have been for about 6 months or so.. It's fun as kicking shit. :)

Tried so many ways to gain some fat.. Even tried some of the myth diets, like drinking a pint of guiness after every meal.. That sucked ass..

Lol, I'm probably smaller than most 16 yr olds :D

how tall are you my friend?

I was 65kg when I left school, and it took a solid year of training and eating like a horse to gain weight, now I can hold it as my metabolism has slowed.

It will happen and you can make it happen faster but listen to me when I say that the eating will be as much of a task if not more than the lifting.

You will need to eat for 3 people.

also when you are between the age of 18-28 your metabolism is relatively quiet strong. You will eventually start putting on more weight as it slows down and as you also start to find have more priorities on other things than just working out..................unless your a PT ;)

Agree with Ant, mine noticeably dropped a notch around 24-25 and maintaining a weight I was happy with became easier.

I now hold between 85-89 pretty easily. I'm 6ft but slight of build (small wrists etc).

Chin up, you'll get there.

Haha yeah I'm a small fry... Definitely sucks when most chicks are taller/bigger than me lol..

I'm 170cm tall.. :/

nothing wrong being that height my friend........im only slightly taller than you at 175cm

I was close to your weight when I was your age at 54kg.

Im now 36 yo and weigh close to 80kg but maintain that very well by eating well (but lack exercise something chronic)

dont stress about putting on weight unless you are a professional wrestler / power-lifter it will come naturally later on.

    • Just something I found searching for more info on Emotion R, apparently the ECR33 Skyline GTS25t was either originally black, or there were two of them, the black one being the original demo car, then building a white one which was part of the 1997-onwards (to at least 2008!) Cockpit Tatebayashi Tokyo Auto Salon booth demo cars. It appears that Emotion R disappeared in the mid-2000's. Scan of a magazine with the black R33 from 1996: Option magazine with a few photos from the Cockpit Tatebayashi booth at the Auto Salon from various years: 2002: http://www.jdm-option.com/photo/index.php?action=item&category_id=154&image_id=3507 2003: http://www.jdm-option.com/photo/index.php?action=item&category_id=137&image_id=3033 2005: http://www.jdm-option.com/photo/index.php?action=item&category_id=116&image_id=1831 In 2008 Cusco website mentions that the Cockpit Tatebayashi ECR33 was displayed at that year's Tokyo Auto Salon: https://www.cusco.co.jp/event/2008/12/post_735.html As of 2021 it appears that the ECR33 demo car ended up being exported to Florida, USA: https://rmcmiami.com/inventory/1996-nissan-skyline-r33-cockpit-tatebayashi-demo-car-big-te06-turbo-endless-brakes-lsd-450hp/ Apologies for nerding out a bit. I used to love doing this 20 years ago on SAU and got a bit nostalgic for a moment... 😅
    • Try fabricating something like this and install it under the pedals? Not sure if it's legal or not....
    • Even though I have some pretty good (brand) ratchet ringies, I avoid using them to break open tight bolts. A broken ratchet is very annoying.
    • Also, there's always room for 4 or 5 3/8" drive wobble extensions of various lengths so you can operate the ratchet from a better location.
