Yeah that is the one. His driving was brilliant, his dress sense - notsomuch.

it was the early 90's... I'm sure most of us wouldn't post up what we looked like back then so I think we can give him a pass on the wardrobe

I'd wear a farkin tutu if I could drive like him

he is a great drive but not sure I'm down with the no helemet and thongs!

best bit of a vid is how he parts the gaggle of japanese reporters standing in front of it like moses parting the red sea!

how did we go from an underpowered road car with sublime handling setup by one of the most famous F1 drivers ever... to an overpowered yank boat engine with $5 of scrap metal bolted around it and no brakes!?

actually f*ck that, what I really want to know is why can't I get my hands on either one at a reasonable price in Australia!

Easy, NSX = estrogen.gif

V-Tec is one of the greatest abominations ever inflected on the motoring public. All that noise and revs to go nowhere pretty quickly :( Especially when a single spinning NSX leaves the pits and some Brazilian cant even slot gears in it :( Best give them a flappy gearbox so hacks who cant shift can still pretend to be able to drive.

Hell, at 1.00min mark he is so late getting back on the throttle because he has ham fisted it up on corner entry, mid corner that he cant get back on the loud pedal until the exit. Imagine if he lived to 2010, he would be perfect for an R35 GTR :)

I actually really like the 3.2L 6spd NSXs but its Friday arvo and want to rant a little

    • Fuse taps are perfectly fine to use, especially when you're adding stuff for your own car, and so long as you're being smart about it. IE, don't throw a 30amp circuit, onto a circuit that is only a small circuit. It's best to add a small circuit, to one that is already quite large. Oh, and make sure you're not going to blow the fuses that are further upstream too! I dislike their use in other applications, such as alarms, telematics/tracking devices etc, as it's far too easy for someone to unplug them and render a system useless. Those sorts of devices I go for wiring in quite secretively.
    • Fob is all cleaned up and it’s working well!! The amount of Vegemite looking sh*t that was in there is mind blowing
    • Given it is temporary, I bought a  cheapy gauge mount (which has become enflattened) which I will screw into the existing phone mount Also a first for me; given this is a temporary install I could not think of any reason not to use one of those "add a fuse" thingies to source the battery and IGN power. I had always figured they were pretty dodgy but having a good look at them I think they are a valid option for sourcing power from an existing source without cutting
