Hey all,

Just wondering if anyone knows the max rwkw an exedy heavy duty clutch would hold?

I'm fairly sure mine's a heavy duty and it's holding 245rwkw fine but will be going to 275 or so soon

Cheers.

Usually said to be aorund the 250kw mark but there have many cases of people running at the 300kw and have had it keep up even I had the exedy OEM replacement which held 300kw for a while, so most likely it will prob hold at 275kw.

If you drive it normally, the clutch will hold. A good quality clutch has no problem holding power, its just when you try to do a massive fully hektik skid and you drop the clutch on a big rpm and expect it to hold... My old car was around 230rwkw and it had an exedy heavy duty in it. Never slipped once. I was even using the standard Nissan clutch cover. So light on the pedal, yet so much grab.

Cheers for the input. Seems i will be fine then as i don't go rippings skids at all or launching it trying to beat everything.

Car basically sees weekend street, touge and is due for light 1/4 drag and wakefield once/twice a year when it gets back on the road.
