Hey guys is having wide rims like 10.5inch on 34gtr unroadworthy? If it come out the guards would a bit of camber sort it out and make it legal or is their more to it?

And also regarding streching tyres is that unroadworthy as well?

Ps love all u sau'ers

Stretched tires are not legal wouldn't really recommend it on a gtr myself..

As for wheels you would find they probably aren't legal however if they are inside the guards at the top you'd likely get away with it, again wouldn't really run mich Camber on a gtr if it was me

Why no camber an no strech on gtr? Affects altessa?

For safety reasons, tyres are designed to fit on a particular width range of rims. If you have to stretch the tyre to fit on the rim, the safety of the tyre / rim combination is compromised.

Check the VicRoads website for the rules, but I think the rule limits rim increases to 1" in width and 2" in diameter.

tyre stretching can be done within reason and not effect anything at all, depends what you have in a mind a 10.5 will need a hefty tyre i wouldn't go less than a 255 on a gtr personally but you'd get smaller on no problems.

and yes camber/strech will effect your handling

^^^^ what he said. They check to see that the wheel is in the guard. No poke. And they check the width of the track of the tyre. Basically if you're rubbing wheels too fat then you would have increased the tyre foot print of you're car which isn't kosher with gayroads!
