M35 Transmission Options?

In the near future I'll be increasing the performance in the stag. I have been doing some research and people seem to think that the standard auto is not up for the extra power. I would like to know how people have fix this issue.

I am especially interested if any one has manage a auto to manual conversion? If so , what was involve and would they do any thing different? Your advice would be appreciated!

Since it's an M35, have you looked at the Shift Kit Jetwreck is offering?

There is no auto to manual conversion at the moment, but if you do a search you'll find out all the info. There is a lot of info on this.

Would be good to do a group investment on producing a manual conversion kit.....would benefit us all as making 1 off's is just not economical!.....e.g. would be good to draw up and product at least 3-4 bellhousing's at once

How much HP are you chasing...I am thinking the auto with the Transgo kit is good for about 300AWKW's!

Should be fine with MV, they were offering a shift kit for M35's a couple of years ago.

Dunno how good/bad it is though.

If you can take your car off the road for a couple of days and are capable of undoing a couple of bolts I can do the VB and send back to you!

Hmm, I am by no means a mechanic but should be able to "undo a couple of bolts". This is moving down my list now as I will probably be doing some body work due to a car park scrape.

However, I will PM you when I get ready, hopefully you will still be doing them then????

about $245 for the kit depending on the exchange rate......and $250 for the fit out to your VB including shipping via TNT to and fro(metro areas...so up to $25 each way).

a total of $495.
