Hey kids,

Just wanted to double check something. I am aware there are some differences between the G35 and V35 (LHD/RHD differences for headers due to steering rack location etc) but wanted to check if the allignment specs (toe in etc) listed in the FSM for the G35 are the same for a V35 Coupe? I wouldn't think it would be different but wanted to check when I get mine alligned..

Random question as well.. car was perfectly alligned and not driven for 2 months than once driven, started to pull left. Steering wheel is a bit cocked left. When having the steering wheel dead centre seems to turn a bit to the right, if I let go will pull left. For a car that has been sitting there, the allignment shouldn't go out like that. I flipped the tyre on the rim and swapped them (directionals) and didn't really do much. Measured the coilover height on all 4 sides (in case one has leaked and dropped a bit but even than wouldn't be that out) they were all sweet as. Brakes don't appear to be dragging. Don't know how the tie rods would die sitting there but will check them out.

Any ideas?

R6n350GT.. I am looking at you.. :whistling:

Yup....I had some new Lower arm bush's from Fulcrum put in that corrects the pull to the left.....my bush's were shagged! On most of our cars the bush's shit themselves by about 90-100K.

I have now replaced these bush's for people in about 10 cars....M35 Stagea's have the same lower arms as the V35

^^ as stated... New bushes are required, your wheel alignment won't just go out like that unless something is loose, or severely worn. Time to get it up on a hoist and have a look.

Ps: you wheel alignment guys should have told you this...

Aaahh.. the old LCA bushes.. noob of me to forget to check them!!

Will check them out when I jack up the car.. and if they are rooted than will change them with some Polyurethan bushes.. these are machine pressed on right?

Cobey, I agree as it was strange the car sitting their would go out of allignment. The car was alligned at the compliance shop so I guess they may not have seen it (or forgot to tell me).. car drove straight as for a bit before being parked for a month or so than had started to pull not long after of being driven.

Cheers guys for the responses

    • Crazy how good the aero bar looks compared to the stock one
    • Yes, but you will need to rewire all the things that are different. CAS, coils, etc. Yes, but there is no IAT. What? You can use anything you like. It just has to be hooked up so that it will work.     Or are you wanting to just plug and play without having to do any thinking/work?
    • It's been a little over a decade since I bought the S15. As I did on my socials, I'll share some of my favorite pictures from over the years further below. If you haven't realised, pretty much all the pictures in my posts are ones I've taken.  In terms of updates, I don't have pictures, but I acquired a near-perfect pair of fog lights from a friend of mine, so those got swapped in for the pair I already had. As for the JZX110, I just got it back from being fixed. A few weeks back, I was on the highway when I suddenly drove over something with very little time to react. It was probably the size of a soccer ball, but it went under the car and banged into the underside pretty loudly. I pulled over and realized the fluid leaking was fuel, and of course, it was right near my exhaust. This required replacing the fuel tank. If you happen to be in the same predicament, thankfully this car shares a fuel tank with the JZS171, IS200, and IS300, so it wasn't too painful to replace. Enjoy some pictures as mentioned above, including the carnage from the fuel tank and a bonus picture I came across which shows how ridiculously shiny the Bugels are on the 110. So many more pictures I could share of the S15 but this will do for today, enjoy.
