C210 Brake Booster Leaking

My brake booster has sprung a leak on my C210 coupe. What is the quickest, simplest and cheapest way of fixing it?

I would think replacing it with a second hand one would be the answer but as these are not very common what would be the most common datsun that shares the same booster?

Cheapest is 2nd hand but best way is get it re built, the old style metal master vac booster units can all be repaired.

I'm upgrading the brakes next year and will probably put a different master and booster on then. For now I just want it on the road asap. What is a general price to have one rebuilt?

$2 or 300.00 in Sydney when I got my DR30 units rebuilt, but they were/are 10" units, somewhat bigger than yours but labour costs would be similar I would assume.

Thanks Dennis, I got hold of a second hand C210 one for $20. If it doesn't turn out ok then I'll just get it rebuilt.

Save time and money, absolutly get one of them rebuilt. If you are saavy with tools there are rebuild kits available online, sometimes ebay.uk

Also theres a high chance another vehicle modle shares the same parts , or same rebuild kit. If your upgrading to bigger and better, some units have vertical bolt spacing or horiz. So make sure u get the right one!

If I had the time I would get it rebuilt but I need the car back on the road by Monday morning to get to work. Plus I don't really want to waste too much money on things that will just be coming off next year anyway.
