Are these equal to the bcp7res plugs? I want to give them a go as I heard they are better than regular plugs. I'll check my shop if they stock then. Repco is the biggest rip off. They want more than 5 dollars per bcp7res. I get 6 for 21

I was running bcp7res and i recently replaced them with bcp6res and the car doesnt feel responsive down low. it actually feels laggy and sluggish however it revs all the way to redline.

My car is making 256kw atw and i run splitfire coils, through trial and error i have found a happy medium gap of 9.5 on any ngk plug i use, this gap provides me with smooth revving all the way to redline. this is the biggest gap i can run without any misfires. I have run the BKr7e v grooves in the past and these definatelty felt the best alround. Problem is i cant find them anywhere.

I think i made a mistake in running a 6 heat range as the 7s seem to perform much better

Any opinions?

All good guys , Repco have them on the shelf

thanks for your help

How much a piece? I'm definitely going to give these a shot. I would love to try a larger gap but honestly, the pain and f**king hassle of removing the plugs, adjusting gap, running high boost and checking for miss well.... a pain in the ass lol. Next set ill try a .9 gap from my .8 and see how I go. Ill pull as much timing from my tune and run it incase it decides to miss it should be cool enough not to det. Yes my car detonates on high boost if it misfires(too much compression maybe?)
