Hey everyone!

I thought I would introduce the company to SAU as we have recently become a trader :)

The company consists of 4 modifiers, Brian Ho, Jeremy Lim, Marshall Lee and Tiang Cheng

Not only do we strive to offer quality genuine parts for great prices, we are happy to lend a hand or two, provide advice, or just ramble on about cars.

We are hands-on enthusiasts who strongly believe in "built not bought" and strive to under-take all modifications possible ourselves!

Here is some more information about us:

Tengoku Imports is an automotive import business based in Perth Western Australia. Tengoku was formed by four like-minded car enthusiasts who after many years in the industry and through building up strong contacts with businesses and suppliers, decided to form a business that is closely associated with the automotive community. We offer a growing number of products from all over the world including USA, Japan, Malaysia and Australia itself. Our goal is to provide top quality genuine products from around the globe at affordable prices while ensuring first class customer service. We believe in having a strong relationship with our suppliers so that we can in turn, offer their great and innovative products to all other like-minded enthusiasts in Australia. We are small, but we believe being small allows us to keep in touch with our customers and adapt and change to the latest trends. We currently deal exclusively online which enables us to reduce our costs and thereby pass them on to our fellow enthusiasts.

Some of the items we exclusively deal are Garrett, Enkei, Exedy, Ultra Racing, Megan Racing, Koyo, Ferodo and Turbosmart. However we are also able to source nearly any items, such as Advan/Yokohama, Rays Engineering, Trust/GReddy, Tomei, HKS, Tein, APexi, Cusco, K&N, Nismo, Work Wheels, SSR and ORC.

What we value:

Customer Service - We know its not always easy knowing what to buy, or who to trust. We believe customer service is our number 1 priority. What does this mean to us? This means listening and understanding what our customers want, responding and keeping in touch with our customer all through the purchasing process. This means we take that extra step to make sure the customer is happy from the moment we receive a query until their prized modification is on their car.

Supplier Relationship - In order to ensure we receive quality (genuine) products on time and in top shape we work closely with our suppliers. This means that we carefully choose suppliers that are highly trustworthy, are able to deliver and keep us up to date with the latest products.

Quality Products - We believe that when it comes to quality products, they do not necessarily have to come from Japan! Don't get us wrong, we love Japanese parts - but with the ever growing market and innovation quality products are being produced from all over the world and we intend to track them down. We believe that there we can offer you parts no matter your budget, whether its a tough street car or track car - As long as the item is of high quality!

Automotive Community - We actively participate in the automotive community, entering events like powercruise, car club cruises, drift/drag events (curently only in WA). We also hold events such as skidpan days and are working towards organising more events in the future. While we are not specifically a social outlet, we feel this is the best way to keep the automotive spirit alive - not only that, but this is what we love doing at Tengoku Imports; socialising, driving and talking about cars and this is the way we live.

Come and visit us HERE on SAU

We have a growing product list that we are working on to provide to SAU members, some included are Garrett turbos, Tial and Turbosmart wastegates, Megan Racing Catalogue (official suppliers), Ferodo brake pads, PRO-RS brake lines (ADR approved), KOYO radiators, EXEDY clutches, Enkei wheels and much much more! Dont forget.. we also import all your JDM goodness!

So come on and JOIN our facebook page to keep updated with specials, new products and progress on all our project cars (forged widebody 180sx, widebody S14, BN kitted FC3S and the humble MR2 Spyder with big plans!).. come and share the motivation, knowledge and the spirit of being a car modifying enthusiast!

We look forward to speaking with everyone! Thanks on behalf of the Team at Tengoku Imports,

Jeremy Lim

    • Bump on this to not make another post, had a ‘head drain’ leak on me and have the engine out as we speak. Planning on just putting a new freeze plug back in , plug the tapped holes and just be done with that headache.    Now I still want to relieve pressure to allow oil to pass down the blocks returns easier. I’ve seen catch cans with multiple vents help folks with this issue on this forum.  I’m wanting to make my own. I have some pictures here of my setup if anyone can help how I should plumb and design the catch can I would deeply appreciate it !   rb25 Oil upgrades: 1.0mm restrictor n1 pump/billet gears extended crank collar  extended sump with trap doors/w welded fitting
    • The Frenchy's kit is the way to go forward. A modern compressor that weighs about 1/2 as much, is at least twice as efficient, and will do a good job on R134a. And of course the kit has everything else you need to connect it up and have it work properly.
    • Hey all , I am in the process of having the AC system in my r32 GTST converted from r12 to r134a and I’m being told my compressor has gone bad and I will need a new one. I was wondering if anybody has any suggestions for what is the best route to go aside from dropping $1500 on a new oem one? I did see that Frenchy’s performance garage offers a kit to mount a Toyota compressor, has anybody actually used this kit on their car? Or is there anywhere I could purchase just a clutch? Any help is appreciated.
    • Well, your RB20 ECU loom won't have wires for the boost solenoid, that boost sensor, and possibly one or two other things. There could be differences in seemingly random things like the charcoal canister purge solenoid, because the 25DET has to handle boost in the vacuum system and the 20DE does not. I don't know - I haven't looked. It is very likely that all the most important things are same-same, being the main sensors like AFM, CAS, etc, and the injectors and ignition. Not that you'll need the AFM for the Haltech anyway. I would suggest that you would seriously want to sit down with the pinouts for both ECUs and just go through them and highlight green what is the same, orange what is different/missing, and make a plan from there. It's not going to be difficult. It will either be the same or need to be fixed.
    • yeaaa that's why I haven't done any wiring to the stock ecu harness because I have the haltech, but then that leads me to the other question of "is the pnp harness really plug and play?" or would I have to still switch some pins/wires over because the pnp is for the rb25det neo harness, and not for the rb20de neo harness. was really hoping to find something to spoon feed me since so many people have done rb20neo + t conversions, but man this is rough.
