Pioneer Avh-P2300 Dvd Hand Brake By Pass

Hey, I Got new Pioneer AVH-P2300 DVD unit and wanna know how to Bypass hand Brake on this Unit.

1) do i need to Buy any add on Device to work ?

2) Any simple trick & tweak?

Hey Shan,

Unfortunately you have posted this in the wrong section however I will answer your question

You will often find that the handbrake wire taps into your existing sensor handbrake sensor which activates the little light on your dashboard. If you wish to bypass this (Which I DO NOT recommend for obvious reasons) just connect it to any ground cable or your chassis

EDIT: I did a little Googling and apparently some of the new Pioneers detect if you have a constant ground and still disable the video, the fix I found was to use a 12V relay with this diagram. It's pretty straight forward and will solve your problem for you. Otherwise you can just use a rocker switch, but then you would have to turn it on and off every time you restart the car
