Polishing Rims

Hi All,

Ive got some minor marks on my rims and want to see if I can get them rubbed out or something and also get my rims polished..

Does anyone know where I can get rims polished? How much is it?

I got the rims on my previous car polished for around $60 a rim. They were 5 spoke ROH rims. It all depends on the rims and how hard it will be to polish.

Some place in clayton near where my mum used to work, cant remember the name.

They took ages to do them tho and i had to take the tyes off and put them on myself

ask a car detailer, i got quoted $40 per wheel, but they have to take the wheels off and get them done, which takes a while, you get a drill bit which is a buffing thingie from kmart for about the same and use some autosol metal polish, should be fine

Not if your wheels have a good layer of paint on them. U need to strip all the paint off and then polish up the bare metal, which isent an easy job if u havent got the right equipment to do it

ah okay, i thought it was just a matter of buffing them, i tried it on mine with a poiloshing cloth and some autosol, it came out better, but not perfect, some brake dust just wouldnt come off
