The wind tunnel tests for the standard wing blade shows it generates different levels of downforce and drag depending on the angle that it is set at as per the factory GTR broucher. The genuine R33 GTR N1 has a built in lip to generate even more downforce than the standard wing blade.

You can still buy these from Nissan for the pricely sum of $4,200 and they weight just a few grams (I know because I have one) or you can buy the more affordable fiberglass copy that is covered in carbon fibre to look like the real thing and not break the bank.

I have that exact item on my car. Not sure if it actually makes any real difference (if it does I can't really feel it) but it sure as hell looks fantastic.

I have got one which came with a GTR33 I imported a while ago. the car was modified by Yokohama Racing..with the OEM boot lid , it is still quite heavy. I also have a twin blade dry carbon rear wing team up with a wet carbon boot lid which is a lot lighter. will test and find out the difference when my GTR33 track car is ready.
