Ppl who have imported - how long did it take?

Just wondering how long importing takes on average.

Those who have bought a car in from jp auction, either directly or through a broker, please post how long the process took from when you seriously started looking to when the car was registered on the road here!

And to start the ball rolling, I gave the importer my specs in November 03 and got the car on the road on 29/2/04 (yay to leap years!) 5 months all up.

ahh, the newest addition to the family, r32 gtr, just to trash around tracks

I gave my requirements at the beginning of Dec 03 and had the car on the road 26th March 04. Near enough to 4 months to wait for my GTR. The pain has been worth it though.

4months. And because at the time I got mine all the 15y rules were changing we missed the boat due to paperwork taking longer.

I voted 8 months. My car isn't here yet -- should hopefully get here november-ish. Can't wait

Got the GTST local about 2.5yrs ago, just imported the GTR and got it on the road 1.5 weeks ago.
