Fkn WOW!!!

Some historically very significant GTR's there!!!

I've got to go there next trip to Japan

Do you have any more pics please of the R33/4 development car, and also any more of the C110 Kenmeri please?

R34 development cars

Small correction regarding the matt black R33 used for development of the R34 - it is basically an aero test mule, for testing R34 diffusers and the rear spoiler. Back area was reinforced to simulate the R34 chassis behaviour, and it also uses R34 wheels.

It was used for development testing during 1996-97 at the Tochigi and Hokkaido Nissan test facilities, so testing started well before R34 was launched. This car had a nickname "stealth", apparently due to its paint.

R34 was the car used for testing at the Ring - it's nickname was also "Stealth" - I know, so imaginative. Development started in June 1995. It also says that the lap time achieved was not announced straight away but that the goal was to better lap R33 lap time by 10 seconds.

Unreal.

Anymore photo's?

How many cars are there?

Maybe 30 cars all up - but collection changes every now and then, so maybe in a few years time none of these cars will be there, hopefully replaced by some other cool Skylines
