indicators not turning off with aftermarket steering wheel

hi guys,

i just got an isotta steering wheel for my series 1 r33 skyline and the indicators dont switch off automatically after ive turned a corner, any one know why??

When you fit the boss kit, did you make sure that the indicator return switches were located inside the correct grooves?

no, i didnt know i had 2, i didnt think the indicators had any thing to do with the wheel. so there are indicator return switches on the steering column that go into the bosskit right?

Yeah.

Take the wheel and boss kit off again and you'll either see a catch/stub on the boss kit that activates the indicator switch, or you'll see grooves in the kit that the indicator switch locates in.

Either way, make sure that they line up.

Strange. I have a hub kit for momo wheel, they don't have that catch groove as far as I remember when putting them on.
