^ I like the first one for some reason. Eitherway nicely done.

Just practicing cleaning skin and trying not to make it look fake or using any filters etc.

Basically healing tool, little bit of dodge and burn. Haven't gone overboard with it. Kept it as natural as possible.

I don't do this often so im no pro.. but just practicing here.

Before:

After: hmmm now that im looking at it again found a few noticeable mistakes :(

Matt - I don't normally like the photos where you can see the bonnet. It feels so over used and tasteless. That said, I really like your first photo showing the engine :D

Sidd - I think those stretch marks on her shoulder blade could of been removed and the ear-ring piercing otherwise awesome job. I use photoshop around 5 hours a day for the past 8ish years so if you need some help with anything, give me a buzz man!

Did you up her eye colour intensity very minutely?

I've just gone and added a few extra things to your photo sidd - hope thats ok!

That looks so much better. How did you remove the stretch marks?

I want to learn without using any filters/actions etc that you can purchase.

Did you just use slight blur on the shoulder blades? To be honest I havnt touched the shoulders at all. I just did the face. But I will attempt it again tonight.

Thanks for offering your help man :)

There are 101 ways to do things in Photoshop. To do the shoulders, use a clone tool (pasting on another layer) then you can use lighting effects to blend it into the stretch marks.

I always need to try a few different methods before I find something that works well and I am happy with the outcome. It's rare to just know how to fix something straight away...

I made her eyes and lips stand out a bit more as they are key features of hers.

Fixing the piercing really makes her look more natural - It's a big blemish (Obviously if a piece of jewellery was there, it wouldn't be the same case)

love the clear bonnet shot matboy. and the blue/green highlights as mentioned by someone else also.

sooooo, went to take a proper 360x180 pano today. got the stand and home made head out the car, about to attach the camera to set up the nodal point and bam, forgot to bring the bolt, ffffuuuuuu.

shot this handheld so it wasnt a total waste of a trip.

I agree with Sidd - that is an AWESOME pano, mate. Seriously, it makes me even more distressed that you smashed up your G11 so you couldn't take more shots. :domokun: You've got the talent, USE IT, even if it's just for fun!

Oh, any news on the job front? Fingers are crossed for you.

also pretty stoked that its a job where i wont have to deal with many people. just need to work on balancing sleeping and spending time with the kids and missus

    • Nah no bearings, just slip fit.  Would be a reasonably challenging but not impossible job to modify it to run bearings but I'm hoping that's not necessary as I may have well built one myself if I end up spending hours modifying it!
    • Brumbys with good shells are bloody expensive, I've looked at 2 "cheaper" cars, and walked away from both,  plus after some research spare parts are fairly sparce I'm starting to think that I missed the boat on finding a clean one that is straight (ish) and without alot rust I'm starting to think about a old Hilux as panels and other parts are much more available as they sold tens of thousands of them I use to be indecisive but now I'm not sure
    • A Brumby would probably fit a big metal toolbox in the back... this is how it begins
    • Picked up a new OEM boot seal for the MX5 today as the old one got ripped a bit by me being a idiot by seeing if I could fit a large metal tool box in it, it didn't fit, and ripped the seal with the corner of the tool box I am still waiting on time to get the cams and new balancer installed, as well as the repairs to the boot Time will not be an issue soon though
