haven't found it for C34 yet

Ok this may work for C34 - too dark to try it now.

You need to find the consult plug which on my car is behind the coin tray next to the fuse block.

S1 is consult, I would have thought S2 would be too (they predate OBD2).

I've looked at 2001 Subaru's that are fitted with OBD2 connectors, but only 'speak' SSM (Subaru Select Monitor).

thats right. S2's are also consult the same as the S1's, and R34's, and R33's etc etc.

Simon, the S2's fault codes and how to retrieve them are the same as the R34 RB25 Neo's. are you looking to pull the codes from you S14? if you have the consult plug wired up, and the engine check light too, you can use the "paperclip method" to bridge out the two pins to get the error code to flash out on the dash.

otherwise you can use any consult lead and software to check them i.e. Nistune, ECUTalk, Nissan Datascan, Tecu etc. this also depends on a consult plug being hooked up.

Hello gentlemen,it's been a long time since the last time here,,,and sorry to bring back this conversation but after suffering the engine light going off and the car acting weird I did the clip trick and obtained CODE 21 and as apears in the guide it should be IGNITION SIGNAL ;after trying to find a way anybody solved it ,looks like it's coilpacks related but, could it be the CAS ,I discovered that when the light goes off an extrange sound comes from the block ,it's like something rubing...Any suggestion or advise will be apreciate.Thanks.
