1. Pay for inspection by a well known workshop in the seller's city.

2. If the inspection results are good, fly over to see it/make the transaction in person.

3. Drive your new car to the Syd/Melb depot.

4. Pick it up from Perth depot in about 2-3 weeks.

5. Profit?! pirate.gif

After recently buying a car from interstate and getting it transported here, personally I see no need for a broker. Will just cost you more money and you will need to place your trust in them.

I ended up flying to Adelaide to look at two cars, couldn't take any time off work so did it all on a weekend. Was fairly straight forward.

Otherwise just find a good person or mechanic to inspect the car and take lots of photos for you and go from there.

For transport, I ended up getting my car from a dealer so they took it to the depot for me.

But otherwise you can get the car transport company to pick up the car from the sellers location. And then you either get it from the depot here or get it dropped at your house.

I used Toll autotrans, which apart from some impolite staff here in Perth, worked out perfectly. Car wasn't even dirty and took about a week to arrive from SA.

Anyway, good luck whichever way you go.
