Same with Iain, very happy to hear it wasn't a Stagea roll over. Hope the people are ok.

Again, wonderful day despite the rain. Great to see so many people out and about. Looking back at my photos, most of them are of rainy car windows pinch.gif

That would take some major talent.

The roll over was a small blue hatch. Starlet or simular. P plater, few young girls standing to the side of the road when i went past it, hopefully they where the only ones in it

It was only the SES on scene when i was there.

Yeah, I went past it too, there were firies there, and there were cops and ambulances arriving as i drove past.

i was at that roll over....family friend....lost control some how and rolled the starlet 3 times....she walked away from the accident and was the only one in the car....

Was standing there in awe as all the stageas and skylines cruised passed....nice looking cars people

Dammit i was actually picturing Terry when i posted that so it was more name dyslexia than mixing you up, lol sorry.

glad to hear the roll over girl was ok, least she got a front row seat for the Stag parade? hope insurance covers it all? anyone in here going on the palm beach cruise? addicted to cruises now and rain wont put me off after enjoying this one rain and all.

We were wondering how that happened as we passed it, thought there might have been another party involved as there were a couple of 4WD cops blasting pas. In the opp direction with lights on after we passed the scene so thought another driver might have taken off.

Hope she's ok Ganty, mustve shaken her up quite a bit, lucky she wasnt seriously injured.

By the way I thought the food (and music) was tops at the hotel we ate at... Will have to head back there some day for an SAU social event.

Glad all in our group had a safe trip, though the 260RS i was driving was a bit squirrely under power!

Thanks to everyone involved, Organisers, Sponsors, Photographers,22 Stag. Owners. It was a little nerv racking not knowing anyone, but we were made very welcome.

The judges had a hard time picking some winner as there were 22 awesome stag.

It was a great day out. Hope to participate in other events.

First time for an SAU event; I'm hooked! I'll definitely be coming along to another one, picked up an SAU membership form too.thumbsup.gif

LOL, did anyone notice that when we stopped at the Stone House Cafe near the end of the cruise, quite a few cars stopped and took photos of our assembled fleet?

Thanks Terry, I do what I can. I'm on the hunt for a digital SLR as I got rid of my old SLR years ago.

I have to admit I nearly ate s#*t standing on the rails taking some pics, thanks Nick for lending me your shoulder so I didnt destroy my other leg. :thumbsup:

      Haha actually I did join back then under a different email address,  I couldn't re-activate my account so made a new one! I didn't post much anyway so not missing out on much. Amazing to see how the value of the cars and parts has changed over the years, also ACT section appears to be dead now.

      Thanks... It's in pretty good condition overall, probably due to not being drifted/tuned however being a daily driver has taken its toll. Had 100k on the clock when I got it, up to 180k now. Unfortunately it's not 100% dent free, it's got a small dent on FLH side and broken indicator from where I hit a small kangaroo at high speed. If you look at closely at pic #5 you might spot the dodgy trailer light repair my old man and I rigged up as temporary repair! - It's still there due to a combo of needing the car as daily driver and then too lazy/busy to fix properly. I've a couple of other minor accidents accidents as well but nothing major. One required a new front bar and unfortunately the smash repairer ordered the normal gtst one and not the aero bar. Needed the car back asap so just went with it, regretted ever since.

      I can't believe that anyone is foolish enough to believe that the base maps are for any other purpose than to drive the car up onto the trailer/truck or gently creep it to the dyno. No matter how good they are, they can never be any better than the factory maps**, and only the foolish trust those on a significantly modified setup. **Yeah, yeah. I know there's also the difference between factory maps being fixed to certain injector sizes and MAP/AFM/VE relationships, and the likely aftermarket ECU base maps being better able to handle the sorts of changes that would render a stock ECU dangerous, like different sized injectors. But let's just ignore that for the moment, because the principle is still the same.
