Do you use any form of data logging? Race Chrono will at least give basic sector times. Interesting to know where the Evo is quicker.

Basically the evo is quicker everywhere except for the
Fish hook
Back straight
Last corner before the straight
The straight (haha)

Everywhere though the evo would make up for it in braking.

There were some quick straight line cars there but I left them completely behind in the twisties.

Hope you've got an online instruction manual to do that gear box or you're going to be in a world of hurt

best advice I ever got "do not undo the hydraulic hose"

Have done a gearbox and transfer case in another evo.

All you have to do is clamp the hoses then gravity bleed.

How do you drop the box without undoing it? There isn't enough slack lol.

But yes, I hate touching that thing.

Separate the transfer from the gearbox and drop the gearbox only

It has to come out to get to one of the bolts

Undo all the other bolts and leave that one for last, then push the transfer case away as you undo the bolt

Drop at workshop with parts. Return when complete...

Silvia gearbox wasnt exactly fun, Evo gearbox will be aids.

Since the box is out, install a PPG hollow tube. The OEM likes to twist then shatter then will lunch the front diff, and box.

I thought Evo's were bullet proof, or is it just the motor and not the drivetrain?
