Changed fuel filter. Was pretty manky. Glad I changed it. But I didnt see any of that black pitting that some people talk about when they run e85. And Ive been on it for 3 years now.

Cleaning out garage after car has been hibernating.

Ive bled the shit out of the brakes yesterday. Brake pedal feels abit soft. Do have new pads. While the car was standing the reservoir was empty, soooo I presume the ABS unit was also drained. Am I meant to be doing something specific to get the air out of the ABS? There seems to be zero air in the lines.

Ill go for a proper drive, bed brakes in and see how it goes.

ok,

brakes are now all good. have feeling no spongy pedal and no squeals.

Had some trouble bedding them in as they just started squealing for a while. So I did decided to go harder on the stopping, few of those cleared it right up haha. QFM HPX are pretty good for a street pad Id say. Doesnt look like they throw much dust which is always a bonus.

My racepace front pipe was no where near to fitting on the car. But after countless alterations, it now is now the highest sitting 3"-3.5" front pipe I have seen to date, only sits just lower of the x member. Sounds pretty grumpy now.

If anyone wants a great exhaust shop around the central coast region, I highly recommend TM Performance exhaust in Erina. David is an absolute legend.

Car is booked in for a touch up tune so I will be sure to update then.

Time to try some of this stuff. It gets a good rap from the guys over on the detail forums. Meant to last a few months aswell.

It's brilliant stuff; one of my detailer mates put me on to it.

So good on dark coloured cars.

Update on collinite.

I love it! Best wax/sealant I have ever used. This is only based on ease of application and the fact that I experience zero smudge.

Out of all waxes I have used, none have removed as easy as this one.

Stay tuned for longevity test. Let's see how long it will bead.

    • The drop shipping isn't the issue I believe, the issue is that a US business is getting stuff manufactured in China, and then selling them, this gets reported in their taxation, thus, I believe, the US government still wants its pound of flesh Whether it is the 10% tariff, which I'm happy to pay to play with, or the 115%, which would be a deal breaker Hopefully this gets sorted sooner rather than later as impatient Mark is impatient...LOL
    • Amazing build thread mate. I wish mine was still on here too. Love the seats. How did they wear overtime? Great to see you are still working on it bud.
    • Drop shipping isn't hard for them to sort out...
    • I bought it for a forever car bud. Was really lucky. It's one owner and kept fully serviced and immaculate. Kills me to modify it but will keep it to the engine and GB only. Body will stay stock and intend to keep all the parts. It's a Silver with factory Altia kit. My mate and I are building it together in the garage. It's currently an auto and just bought new manual GB and parts from Michael at Kudos. They've been great.
    • So, as for the intake parts, part supply/delivery is currently problematic  As the parts are not made in the US (probably China) new tariffs are making things slow to happen, thanks Trump The joint I am getting the intake parts from, FAB9, are in the US, typically they are delivered to the US then sent out from there to, well, here, or wherever  FAB9 are currently looking at shipping directly from the supplier to avoid tariff hits,  so now I'm waiting until that little chestnut gets sorted out My impatience is blossoming nicely
