The good

- it's nippy

- handles and brakes amazingly

- much more fun at the track without overheating or some shit

- smaller doors (good for parking)

- massive boot (for tools and jerrycans)

- seats are better

- has mivec

- spend less money getting to 300kw (excluding strengthening driveline)

- car is easier to work on (feels like everything was design for the intention to be worked on in a hurry)

The bad

- It's slow (GTR was quick up top)

- turning circle can ead

- gearbox and tranny are weak

- it's a lancer

- evo forum sucks and most evo drivers are a bit different

All in all, I'm enjoying the evo a lot more than the GTR. But I do miss the ability to just blast past any car coz street warrior.

Good run down and very telling that all in all you're enjoying this more.

Lets see how slow it feels once you've E85'd it etc.

What do you mean by Evo drivers being a bit "different"?

Also "It's a Lancer"? A GT-R is just a Skyline too.

Lol a lancer is still less flattering than a skyline.

Most evo drivers look at things differently. I can't describe it lol. They attract a different demographic.

needs more poke

can fit 18x.9.5 +22 good stance

if won't fit, run stretched

get 272 cams for braps

why don't you set up launch control

^ EVO forums :)

Nothing I haven't seen here more or less.

I've seen much worse on NS.com lol

NS.com, late 2000s to early 2010s, mass stance/low/moar low/poke/stretch/pipe roll fap circlejerk

everyone was a suspension, camber, offset and photography expert, building cars around their wheels and ganging up on anyone who didn't meet their wheel fitment requirements and dared to post a pic of their car in the stance thread

Some of that still exists.

My no f**ks given budget CA track car build is in the motorsport section though, much safer in there.

but you get dick heads telling you to throw the viscous diff into the bin and replace it with a S15 Helical Diff LOL
