Simple fix for a huge problem!

Just seeing if anyone else has had an experience like this? Turns out the reason my coilpacks were misfiring and not having enough guts was…..the battery had done itself a mischief and was acting like a load across the alternator!!! I was starting to notice that the fuel pump was up and down in pitch if I put my foot on the brake…and then Saturday the battery died 100%

Replaced it yesterday and now it’s like a new car! No dimming of the lights when the sub kicks in either….damn electrical faults!

So I’m back in business

good stuff so does that mean the mrs is going to let you out during the week now to come play?? would be nice to have a 34 or two along.

i also love it when my car sorts out its problems for itself

thought my aircon compressor was on the way out as it was making a horrible noise

got in the car and its just disappeared, and aircon is cranking it out again silently

Yeah an excel did start my car...barely though, the little Korean thing almost had the life sucked out of it

I couldn’t believe I nearly bought the Splitfires…that would not have made me happy, to find that they wouldn’t have fixed it for a premium price!

I’m glad that the battery just died…at least it made me look at something I never thought of.

And yes that means I can head out now, without feeling embarrassed about the girlish performance of my car
