Intermittent Problem With Rb20

hmmmm thats very curious...

im not 100% sure thats gonna solve my issues but ill sus it out.

reason i say that is because my hr31 coupe did it before i put a front mount in and even after that the pipin was run through the standard smic holes.

laurel how ever has a hybrid fmic kit. and i cant exactly remember when the hesitation/r&r started. i know i didnt notice it when i test drove it before i bought it, and it didnt happen the first few weeks i had it but not sure if it happened before or after i put the fmic on it..

will investigate.

either way. sounds like we both had the same problem even if its caused by different things...

I now have the same issue with my Rb20 r32 skyline. Has anyone got a resolution?

Havent read the thread but try unplugging the 02sensor

^^ if it feels like R&R like " hitting a wall" could be a half stuffed afm that doesnt go into limp mode

I had the laurel tuned recently and the tuner didn't find any faults. Other then my stock fuel pump being a bit tired. But installed a walbro and it's still doin it. Problem is it'll do it for a week or so when get over it and run fine for a while. Haha

I fixed my one! woohoo! It ended up being the air flow meter, the one i replaced my original one with was also stuffed, so i went and bought another one from Osaka Imports and sure enough it is now running fine.

nice to know. ill soon be replacing mine with a new style of afm.

its an insert style afm that nistune are testin atm.
