Ok I don't think anyone else has posted this as yet.. sorry if I've missed it.

Read the below and send a well constructed, thought out submission through as per contact details shown.

I don't believe any abuse, idiot emails or ridiculous suggestions is going to help anyone..

The Victorian Speed Limit Review

The Victorian Speed Limit Review aims to make speed limits simpler, more consistent and easier to follow.

The Review provides an opportunity for Victorian road users to bring speed related issues to the attention of the policy-makers so that speed limits and their use can be improved.

VicRoads is now seeking submissions on the following topics:

Routes with large numbers of speed zone changes

Opportunities to reduce the number of speed limit changes

Aspects of School Speed Zones, including layout and location, times of operation and days of operation

Strip shopping centre times

Speed limits in town centres

Use and application of advisory speed limits

Minimum length of speed zones

Consistency of speed limits under similar conditions

^ I agree, biggest thing that sh*ts me on the eastern is people are doing 90 in the right lane, or others want to do 120, up your bum, and you have a ton of cars in front of you and it does not achieve anything.

I think overhead digital speed signs like in Johnson st, per lane that says the left and middle lanes = 100, right lane = 110/115

lol at the Monash just after peak. you have people doing 70-80 and others late for work doing 100.

The road works signs seem to never be removed at end of shift. So, after hours, according to the speed signs, I'm having to do 40 in a 70 zone...

Coming from the airport, just after the burnley tunnel, the variable speed limit is always 80, despite being a freeway and lacking any vehicles besides my own. Do they even monitor these roads? Or is it just timed?
