after 6 months of getting the engine and susspention sorted it's time to paint. I'm painting it midnight blue ( acrylic ) now my question is should I be removing the front fenders and bonnet for a better job or should I just leave them on the car? Iv already removed front bar and will be removing rear bar just for ease of painting thanks in advance

I would take the guards off and paint the underside and A pillar (under the guard), then put them back on when painting the outside of the car, Would make the outside coat more even imo.

Thats what I did with my HQ.

Maybe someone with more expirence has other Ideas though.

as a 3rd year spray painter if your going to keep it for a while you might as well go the extra mile and take the guards and bonnet off.

Paint both sides of panels for a factory finish although im a bit confused why your using acrylic to paint your r32.

You should be using base coat and then seal it off with some clear coat. If you use arcylic paint it will dry very dull and yo uwill have to spend hours cut and polishing it.

With base coat you wont have to do any of that
