Things to check:

Check throttle cable is set correctly ( not over tightened, and stuck at partial throttle ).

Check all vacuum lines are secure, undamaged and where they need to be.

Clean idle air control valve.

do you have a picture or diagram of the engine bay with those things marked? would be a great help
