Gee Whiz livin the life

Khalifa?

Hear the night life when it’s callin’

So we drink until we fallin’

Aint a Laker but I’m ballin’

Need about 3 girls and I bought these girls to the club

Can I get em all in

Make a movie let ‘em star in it

Get drunk, get her in my car in

Do the same thing in the morning

Hear ‘em hating but we ignore them

I'm not an expert at using SAU bro lol

Apparently you're not an expert at hooking me up with girls either!

:)

Meh, I'm just conservative and save a lot, only spend when it's a good deal :)

2 cents off per litre? :rofl2:

I see my next long ( a few months) holiday is when i'm 65

When I've retired, house is paid off and I don't need to worry about the kids lol

You have kids?

I have been dreaming of getting a real car out on those roads for a while now and am happy to share the experience with anyone who will enjoy it. As long as they don't watch me while I sleep :glare:

What's your definition of a "real car".. If you're eyeing the exotics then we got something to talk about otherwise we can't settle for anything less. Btw, Aaron is a socially awkward fella, bit on a plump side too

I did 1 month in the US for the MotoGP in Laguna Seca and Indianapolis. It went: LA-Laguna Seca-San Francisco-Hamptons-NYC-NJ-Austin Texas-Indianapolis.

Highlights: Scored an incredible $10,000/night 3 story penthouse apartment in NYC by accident for the standard price of course, met Alex Craville-MotoGP World Champ, and Austin. Austin was a highlight in itself, I would rate it one of the best cities in the US, not 'texas' at all. Go there if you can, it has the best music and bar scene, very chilled out.

Then from there 1 month in Europe for my birthday as by chance 3 of my sisters were there: Country France, Paris, Amsterdam and London.

I went back just recently and visited Spain (Valencia and Barcelona) and Milano for the GP and Moto Show for work purposes. Spain is absolutely awesome. Had done Switzerland, Andorra and a few of those previously mentioned countries last year and they were great as well. Can't get enough of driving through those Alps.

Europe does have a lot more culture, but I found the people in America quite friendly and entertaining. Hopefully will get back to one or both next year.

Wow, I just had a de javu.. You sound like my mate Ivan who's also a member here ctjet, went on a trip to follow every single F1 round/race in Europe last year. But in your case it's MotoGP. Sounds like you've got quite a fascination with bikes.. for a chick, that awesome's.

Just by looking at the pictures of Austin, it does look like a better city than LA which i was quite shocked with, not meeting my expectations at all.

Well you have very good taste in shoes... But you do realise the purpose of the photo was the light cycle part right? :P

LOL.. If you could call it a light cycle that is but can't expect more from IT guru's to sketch up something better, assuming that was some sort of an IT exhibition you were at.

Apparently you're not an expert at hooking me up with girls either!

If you need someone else to do the work for you, you shouldnt be in the game my friend

Btw how do all you cats gets away with working and SAUing at the me time anyway? Clearly not working hard:P

That's right I'm pedantic about fuel prices! Just think, 2c off means for me I save at least $62 a year, if I combine that with my grocery voucher it's more than $185 a year. I've been driving and feeding myself since I was 18 so thats about a total of $925 saved. Oh, guess what? Thats half a ticket jet setting overseas :nyaanyaa:

I'm such a looser >_<

Self owned :P

I use SAU as a means of 'work' breaks. Other people around the office just stand around and chat

16 yo kid will earn around $12 an hour.

Biggest pay rise is from 17-18 and that takes you to around 18-19 an hour.

20 and above get a normal rate of 22 ish an hour, ceebs finding pay slip to check actual amount

Min rate for 16 yr old is $8, 17 yr old is $11, 18 yr old is $11.80 and 19 is $13.70 etc. etc..

Definitely exotics :D My favourites would be Ferrari, Lambo and Aston Martin. After that the R8, Porche's and the Alfa 8C... Man I wish that car was better, they were going to make the 4C but I don't think it's going to happen. Unfortunate about the untamed power but I have a real soft spot for Alfa's. They have some good car chase scenes in movies as well! Not really a fan of the Bugatti, I like their older cars better.

Yeah I would love to do it better. Actually I would just love to move to Spain in our winter then there's 4 MotoGP tracks to play on. Awesome!

I agree, LA felt.... Pastic... I guess that makes sense.

Actually it was at the Milano Moto show for some helmet manufacturer lol. I'm dissapointed they didn't have the road legal replica on display. That would have be incredible. Maybe at the US Moto Show.

    • Lucky pick up Best to find these things before something horrible happened to the yoke flange thingies I would hate to think what would happen if it dropped the tailshaft  Hopefully the holes are not flogged out in the yokes and it was just the bolts that got munted  As for the hand brake.....ouch, look like the disc got rather hot, and I assume smokey, I recall when I had a front caliper seize on the Commodore, there was lots of smoke and the disc was glowing cherry red when I was able to eventually stop and have a look, and stopping a big heavy car, going down a big hill with some rather high RPM down shifts and some hand brake action is something that makes you think hard about life
    • One of the things that never seemed right was the handbrake. Put in some nice new Project Mu shoes. We figured the rears were out, so why not. We're right there. My handbrake never worked well anyway. Well, this is them, 15km later. 67fdcf94-9763-4522-97a4-8f04b2ad0826.mp4 Keen eyes would note the difference in this picture too:   And this picture: Also, this was my Tailshaft bolts: 4ad3c7dd-51d0-4577-8e72-ba8bc82f6e87.mp4 It turns out my suspicions that one side of the handbrake cable was stretched all along were pretty accurate, as was my intuition that I didn't want to drop the tailshaft to swap them on jack stands and wasn't entirely sure about bolt torque. I have since bought the handbrake cables which have gone in. I'm very glad that I went to my mechanic friend who owns an alignment machine to get an alignment before the track day, because his eyes spotted these various levels of "WHAT THE f**k IS GOING ON HERE?". Turns out the alignment wasn't that bad, considering we changed the adjustable castor arms out for un-adjustable castor arms, and messed with the heights. Car drove pretty good with one side of the handbrake stuck on, unbleedable rear brakes, alignment screwy, and the tailshaft about to go flying and generally being a death trap waiting to happen! (I did have covid) (I maintain I adjusted the handbrake correctly, but movement caused shennanigans and/or I dislodged the spring on the problem side somewhat, or god knows what). G R E G G E D
    • Very interesting, im not sure how all those complications fit in to running a haltech instead of a stock ecu but I'm starting to think I'm a bit out of my league.
    • I just put 2 and 2 together. This is a Neo converted R32. The Neo ECU (in concert with the R34's AC controller) runs the AC quite differently to how the R32 ECU and AC controller do it. If you just drop it all in, it won't work. There is some tricky wiring required, including changing to the pressure switch that the Neo controllers want to see. I don't know what it is, because mine was done by a guru. It was a year or so after I did that transplant before he worked out what needed to be done.
    • Don't assume the AC relay signal from the ECU is +, some models including Stagea use an earth trigger.
