I always leave it to dry for halfa before I start it after washing. Not a good idea to do it while it's wet. You probably went a bit overboard with the hosing too

Rimon, you could have wet some of the electrics, should start again once it's dried out. Try to avoid too much hosing from above the base of the fuel tank.
