Billy speaks the truth. Lol.

Its a really good budget car. So easy to park too! Haha.

Oh, is the one he linked you and EFI one? Generally the EFI's are a lot better.

No idea, all it says relating to the engine is v-tec

I'll send u the link when I get home

lol if he is referring to the EG Civic vti-r (with vtec) its a peice of shit

Single overhead over-rated with "vtec"

Friend had one, not worth the money and too many people are tryhards with them. Plus it isnt real vtec. My friends have integra type-r's and s2000's and they are true vtec. Not an EG vtir.

Tell him to save his money and buy a regular EG Civic GLI

The vtir model is better than gli, also have better features. They are selling for roughly the same price. I know I'd rather the Vtec motor than the carby motor.

I don't think his brother is buying the car for e-reps, it's just a daily

Its actually just a VTI (not vtir, that's for EK's). SOHC VTEC. Which means its EFI. Do not buy a carby.

FYI, Sohc vtec are amazing to turbo. A lot easier than the Dohc vtec's (B16/18/20 F20C).

Yes I agree (@Rekin) DOHC > SOHC Vtec, but dude just wants a car (And by the sounds of it, can't be a powerful one by what dezz says), and the VTI would be a lot more reliable than an old carby. Its worth the money just for a car. Not worth the money to mod them.

And yes what billy said is true, the VTI was a more luxurious version compared to the GL/GLI.

That's the one he's sent me, so base all your feedback on that one lol

He just needs something cheapish and reliable, but obviously being young he doesn't wanna drive a complete heap of shit like his brother

GLi's arent carby motor. The GL's are i believe.

People are charging vtec money for the vtir, when they not worth it. Not to mention thrashed and paraded around as the poster boy of vtec yo.

lol fart cannon, steelies and 200,000km. Sounds like its had an easy life...

Guy probably used a can of tyre shine on each wheel. And on the steelies too!

Tbh, if the engine feels healthy, engine mounts good, bushes and brakes and all the mumbo jumbo are good. I'd go for it.

My civic probably had the easiest life ever before I had it. Everything is so perfect. Haha

Billy has an ek? Awesomeeee. i'm not alone xD
