Yeah, problem with blame is, whoever gets the finger pointing in the end, that guy is still dead. People don't realise how life affecting their decisions on the road can be, don't think they ever will until something bad happens to them. It's like the road is a theme park ride and the worst that can happen is a bump from a dodgem car.

On the topic of blame, we commonly drive through green lights at intersections / walk across pedestrian crossings without looking to make sure the cars intersecting have stopped, simply because we know we have right of way and depend on this way too much. Meanwhile, some tool running a red light could kill you and being in the right won't save your life. Sort of similar to the advice that girls shouldn't dress too provocatively to discourage being sexually attacked...you have every right to dress how you want, but you also have every right to walk into a lion's den carrying 2kg of rump steak...doesn't mean it's a good idea. Which is why you should never let your guard down when riding a bike - everyone is out to kill you.

Should re-test everyone of all ages, I bet most of them would fail.

lol i'd happily do the test every 6 months if i know everyone else has to do it too.

oh well shit happens and will continue to happen no matter what.

lions den isn't so bad, try a pack of lebs with a fresh optus recharge card...

Same, I started a thread about licence retesting here in the Vic section and most people voted for retesting. I agree, things won't change no matter what ads they put on or laws they implement. It's all just luck.

Walking back from the beach today to see my passenger window smashed. Funny thing. Only a friends bag that had clothes. Left my ipad, gps, wallet with few hundred, macbook pro and a pair of fairly expensive headphones. GOOD f**kING JOB DUMB dream boats.

Now... Anyone know where I can get my EK's passenger window replaced cheap? I'm so fkn poor right now.
