Aaron's car looks good!

Pat I thought ur place was rented out? Shouldn't tenant pay water usage and only fixed charges for owner

Only 1 water meter for complex, so water bill is split across all appartments and the owners have to pay for usage and fixed charges :/

Got shafted for body corporate carpet replacement too -__-

so after being told by multiple mechanics that they couldn't do much except angle grind the bolts out of my rear wing, a 70 year old electrician took to it with a drill and got them out!

put the carbon wing on and the allen bolts wouldnt really go into it - got one in fine - rest just wanted to spin - so searched around my garage and picked up random screws and bolts here and there and put(forced) them in with a ratchet..

i just wanted it to be on already, secured firmly now! (probably impossible to remove)

Those 335s are becoming good value Alex. Liking Audi S4s too.

Range Rover Evoques have my heart at the moment. Would definitely consider if I was in the market for a new car...and didn't already have 3 x regos and insurances to pay :/

F*** that for a joke. What's your shortfall like?

naice, very naice

nice Aaron.

Haters told me Rotas on the GTR would break on the track, then I beat their lap time.. they were mad. And guess what my rims were still in one piece :O

Alex, you want a GS? lol apparently I get a new car after 3 months with this new job.. doh!.. doesn't really seem worth having a 60k car that I'll occasionally use on the weekends.. might be house time I suppose

thanks man.

fake rims are fine, people just hate cause copies of the more expensive wheels they fork out for

I ran rotas and xxr's and both fine, and even now with the BBS's I still won't criticise on rota's and other fakes

not worth it, table more profitable :P

i wasnt really happy with the finish of a mates rotas, so i went with varrstoen

was gonna say something about fake wheels. saw the stickers, and the clips holding the front bar on. realised its a lost cause. :whistling:

sup Alex :rofl2:

you drive a 4 door r32, your in the same category as mohsen therefore your point is invalid.

Sweet thanks, still hoping for a big one lol

finally finished my fkin 12 weeks of log booking yesterday too

BOOM

Won't have to do another one for 5 years unless your usage drastically changes

Also have a soft spot for 335i. Modern day skyline. 3.0L inline 6 twin turbo and from what I hear simple tune, exhaust etc can bring it near 300rwkw

Yeah that's it, apprenticeship is pretty much a locked in deal for the next 4 years...Will have to travel to different sites when this job is finished or when I get moved, but the usage won't really change...

Just gotta start finding all of my receipts for rego/servicing etc...I'll find out what more you're gonna need from me when it's a bit closer and get it all together to send over..

    • What can't be done with a little bit of decking board or similar timber bolted to a hub flange via 2 wheel nuts is not worth talking about.
    • I noticed something. On the tps sensor and the sensor behind the adjustment screw is adjusted towards the far left. Are these screws supposed to be centered? (this sensor was in the same position before the tune as well)  Also attached a photo of where my car usually idles at when warm (sometimes a tiny bit above that). I think I might have screwed up the calculation and it might have better than I thought lol at 750rpm still not 650rpm though.
    • So for both general interest of engine health, and to rule out any coolant/oil issues, I organised an oil analysis done on the 125,000klm oil Results below, all good, just a bit of fuel dilution which I'm not too worried about
    • This is actually a really good way of measuring what wheels fit. If only there was a similar measurement between hub face and suspension :p That said, it's probably pretty simple to actually measure it all with the wheel off the car for the rear. The front is a bit more complex but..
    • Being the top Google search result for R34 wheel-related inquiries, lemme throw down my experience. I calculated that 100mm from hub face to wheel face is about the perfect fitment for my ENR34 sedan.  I've been running 18x8.5s, ET35, with a 1" spacer. So, 8.5in to mm = 216mm. 216/2 = 108mm. 108-35 = 73mm. 73+ 25 (1" to mm) = 98mm.  If you wanna get close to this on dif widths, here are the offsets you'll want: 9" - ET around 15mm 9.5" - ET around 20mm 10" - you're crazy, but ET around 30mm All these should fit perfectly on a non-widebody, non-GTR Skyline. Note that it's probably the absolute max, and you're probably better off running a couple degrees of camber in this config, but it looks great, super flush.
