Unless I'm mistaken on the M5, those cars are autos lol? Or were there manuals in between?

Nah, The person going to pick up cars need to be able to drive manual because dont know what car I'm going to drive. Can't just show up and say can't drive that cause its manual. Lol. getwhutimean?

And yeah, there were manuals inbetween but they were average cars.

anyone tried BC ER coilovers?

tempted to get a set..

works out like 700$ or so cheaper than grabbing another set of monoflex..

Friend ran the ER oh his evo 7 very happy with them I'm running the RM spec on my S14 atm, (inverted front strut) and love them.

personally the step up from the model below the ER is nor really worth it the mid spec is the choice buy.

Why does my car have to be so "cute" looking, everyone says it, even mohomo.

Lol its a front wheel drive Honda civic, what you expect?

It's the common car for the common girl unfortunately, most guys who have no idea about cars usually end up with the family Ford falcon/Holden commodore/mitsubishi magna

Majority of time it's the girls searching for small hatchbacks / cars. Getz, echo, jazz, civic etc

/captain obvious

Bro tip: Cute cars get the womens

Not when it's principle place if it's rented or has been you could I think Toby will know best!

How's it going with the house?

Principal place of residence, so as I thought, nothing I can claim :( And yeah the place is great. Small, even just for me but any bigger and I couldn't be bothered maintaining it by myself. Theres a lot of things I want to do - replaster a wall, redo all the carpets and wet area coverings, replace the garage roof and put a deck out the back. But really I don't have the time, money or motivation to do any of those things right now. I want a new car instead lol. House can wait, after all it's a much longer term investment.

finish installing one of these headlights tomorrow on the bike! heaps better than the 90s style square one

I must admit I got a little freaked out watching house prices in my area drop but realistically I'm not selling it any time soon so I have no reason to worry :)

    • I’d love to find some where that can recover the dashes to look brand new and original. Mine has a very slight bubble, nothing compared to some I’ve seen though
    • $170K. I asked one of the guys there as a joke if that price was just for the passenger seat as it was where the price sheet was... he tried really hard to crack a smile 😄 He also mentioned that every single part of the car was inspected and either restored or replaced with a new or as new part, or made from scratch. The interior was incredible, every inch like a new car.
    • Time for a modernisation, throw out the AFM, stock O2s, ECU into the e-waste bin. Rip out the cable throttle, IACV, pedal, etc. into the scrap metal bin. DBW, e-throttle, modern ECU, CANbus wideband, and the thing will drive better than when it left the factory.
    • I agree, don't go trusting those trims. As I said, first step is to put the logger away, and do the basics in diagnosis.   I spend plenty of time with data loggers. I also spend plenty of time teaching "technicians" why they need to stop using their data loggers, and learn real diagnostics.   The amount of data logs I play with would probably blow most people away. I don't just use it to diagnose. I log raw CAN data too, as a nice chunk of my job is reverse engineering what automotive manufacturers are doing.
    • I'm aware, but unless you're actually seeing the voltage the ECU is seeing and you're able to verify the sensors are actually working I find it hard to just trust STFT/LTFT. I will say, logging the ECU comes naturally to me because it's one of the lowest effort methods of diagnosis and I do similar things in my day job all the time. Staring at 20+ charts looking for something that isn't quite right isn't for everyone. NDS1 allows you to log almost everything so that's normally what I do and then sort out the data later.
