its basically like being a sparky / on site technician.. running cables / getting into roofs / wiring up stuff aint really my thing.. coming from a more software / PC support type role.. the job description didn't explain i'd be using a angle grinder and drills and shit lol I feel like a builder when I'm really a geek monday to friday.. was trying to uninstall a nurse call point from a bathroom today and walked in only to see a builder taking a dump dafaq..

(yea yea I'm soft I know.. but really isn't the "manual labour" it's more that im just not interested..)

2nd day and I called boss (my old i.t manager at old work) saying this aint for me.. he is trying to convince the owner to manipulate my role into a more PC based thing now -_- i prefer having a desk and emailing random photos around lol

Noooms. Lambs on Chapel... 5 minues walk from home.

Lambs on Lygon... 1 minute walk from school.

Best.

Had Lygon Lambs on Saturday night, after night at cas. At least all my losings were forgotten while eating :P

As Birds says, it's more the convenience that makes it taste soooo goood. When I'm at school Lygon tastes best. When I'm at home Chapel tastes best :)

ahh id prefer a pc / office job too man..

doing a physical job can really suck especially when the pay isnt very good..

Yeah i was pretty much led onto believing it was similar to what i was doing.. apparently not to the point where i don't even have a desk lol and on site all the time.. cheers for the comments makes me think I'm doing the right thing leaving - apart from Nick :P I'm not as bad ass as you sorry brah! :D

Ah well I guess job hunting again! :P

lol fair enough, I just miss emailing people random shit :P

oh and the office womens (although that was at the body shop so more than usual!)

nah but seriously prefer software / PC / server related over this sparky stuff

Martin - give me a job brah :D

I don't wanna get into a souvlaki war, but if it's a Lambs war, gay Lambs on Commercial Rd for me please. Just don't park in the no parking zone or it'll be the most expensive souvlaki you ever eat :P

The Lambs on Chapel have too much fat in their meat and shit slicing too, not small enough. Haven't tried Lygon or Brunswick.

Yo bluejeans I haven't tracked the SS, but I've run them at DECA and they were quite good. Don't really have a basis for comparison as I've only ever done DECA with them, but I was happy with how they performed. Obviously softer spring rates you get a bit more body roll than firmer springs, but that's the trade off. Still way better handling than stock.

pfft, since when is Birds ever right?

Sounds like a SAU kebab run to Brunswick and maybe Lygon... haha

I never had troubles with my EDFC, however I didn't have car long enough to have it happen :P

although they were 2nd hand when i bought them, but iirc they only had about 10000kms use

...

Engine bay heat used to kill the older style motors and you'd just come up with error on the screen and be unable to adjust them. I loved them when they first worked though.

Was looking at getting one of my Tein SS coils revalved, as it's squeaking a lot (done ~40,000km on them). Spoke to the guys at Fulcrum who rebuild them and they said it's normal for SS to shit themselves after ~2 years of daily driving. So if you get anything more than that, I guess be happy :/

I'm not lol. Though I do acknowledge you're putting essentially racing parts on a street car, wear is always going to be an issue as the daily grind is tougher on some components than the track is :/

Do Fulcrum still do 3 Year warranties on Australian-spec Super Streets?

Ah yep, not sure if evo were old style motors or not, were your's in the pulsar?

just realised that Shannon's Skyline Nationals are on the same weekend as DECA is supposedly on... :( what's a boy to do

If you're talking about SAU DECA they're not even in the same month from what I can see :P
