-_- you said you preferred the RSV4 to the 1198 shape.

seriously how much do the 1198's sell for?

we sold a repo'd one for like $8k

done about 3,000km. perfect condition.

They range from about $20-$25k second hand, but the market isn't moving so cheaper is possible.

$8k... phwoar.

What are some of the prices that the cars are selling for?

it depends on who's at the auction man.

if a car doesnt meet the reserve, and fails at an auction, then only after that im able to privately sell.

as an example(not factual figures) a c63 new ranges at around $180,000 drive away(including finance and stuff +say 30% interest)

we sold one that was a 2011 face lifted model c63 amg done 12,xxx k's full service hist, rwc, 1 year rego blah blah blah, for about $110,000

40 guest viewers again wtf? Get your union cronies out of here Dezzeye.

I call bullshit on your memory.

It was the 1098 we were comparing to the RSV4, not that there's much difference; I do prefer the RSV4.

RSV4 > 1098/1198 > 999

Knew you'd have my back. Takes me back to high school; sharing earbuds at the bus stop.

Just noticed how purple Dre looks in your avatar; blends in with the SAU Vic tags.

lol ok. you do realise vehicles that sell at an auction sell for substantially less than a private sale. let alone a dealership. Birds your in the business trade industry you should know that.

Used to have dealers buy cars for me at the auctions and yes, they do go for substantially less than private sale. But substantial being enough to make a tidy profit on the vehicle, not a ridiculous margin. Don't doubt the real bargains happen from time to time with no reserve auctions, but finding it difficult to believe that a 20k-25k bike in near new condition would sell for 8k, even at dealer auctions. I'd wanna see the papers!
