how many men have you met, that you though were women?

ps you end up getting your 1.53 you were after?

If I believe the missus lots, when in Thailand she thought every second chick in a bar was a lady boy.

times nah, went out on last run and kept making stupid mistakes.

pushing too hard and locking whlle under brakes or running too wide.

pity got my highest trap times for the day and corner speeds were up so it's def there I just gotta find it.

was tossing up going out for the last run, but when the crash closed it, was done for the day

hahaha ladyboy.

yeh scott nearly got hit by an oldish blue wrx, as soon as those things touch grass they lose it.. probably missed him by a metre..

and the fact that there was GB oil all over the track didnt help, i spoke to the towie that picked him up. pretty stupid move by the driver continuing the drive half of the track spilling oil everywhere..

Not that you were in the car or anything ey Aaron... :P

Bit scary having a rex crossed up in front of you, I nearly Tboned him. I guess he lost concentration having a Volvo whale pushing him. lol.

sent you a pm with his digits.

what did you think of it tony- your honest thoughts?

Thanks!

Of your car?

Felt like 270rwkw in a 1250kg car is more than enough for the street. I would be a bit scared driving that thing hard in the twisties.

It is a little laggy down low but I haven't driven that many sr20's so might actually be good in a sr20.

But once it hits full boost it goes hard!

Oh yeah you clutch isn't that bad lol, Did not stall once :P

The mufflers are around $400 as I remember, there are quite a few styles.

Can you drop in some time so I can have a look Tony?

Hrmm bit more exy than I thought

But I'll keep in touch with you Scotty if I do decide to go through with it

not sure if you were still there, a wrx touched the grass coming on to the pit straight, lost it and went backwards into the wall hard.

lucky he had a cage.

I'm sure he had no idea he was dropping oil as he went past the pit entrance twice whilst it was happening!

It's worth it every time you press the quiet button on the remote. I can't believe how quiet mine is closed, almost stock noise level, not bad for a 3.5 inch muffler. Even open it's not too bad.

Thanks!

Yeh, we both saw that, I was hoping to get out for another run myself before that ruined my chances.

I love the way they let the Novice guys clean up the sawdust, it didn't seem to change the grip too much, just the confidence. :)

    • Adjusting the idle screw is usually (emphasis on usually) just covering up deeper issues. Stuff like the cold start valve not closing properly. Throttle shaft seals on the way out. Coolant temp sensors getting out of spec. Coolant temp sensors especially can be a bear to diagnose because they can fail subtly. My dad just spent weeks chasing down his high idle. He cleaned the coolant temp sensor and everything but the resistance curve just drifts over time and if it's been 20+ years they also get super slow to respond as well. Has a massive effect on fuel economy as if it's off the ECU is going to run richer and command high idle for far longer than it should otherwise.
    • How old is the battery, it's more likely your battery is on its way out.
    • I reckon you'd get 90% off. My washer doesn't get between spokes very well. Haha! I love my Gerni!  Argh! Steam cleaning has its place for sure.
    • Hey all, I did a voltage test with the car (video attached) not running for 3 days. And here is some interesting stuff: - Battery voltage is 12v (I had the key in the ON position) - Drops to 9.76v while cranking then quickly goes up to 14.5v - You will notice there was a sorta slow start but not as slow as it usually is. - Idle surprisingly was better at just over 1,000rpm instead of 1,100 rpm. - I turned on the A/C, radio and headlights in the video and the voltage remains the same - I haven't cleaned the grounding wires on the chassis yet, that's next. - Battery drops to 12.6v when I turn off the car and wait a bit Seems like I might have a parasitic draw? I do have an immobiliser system which does drain the battery more of course but was wondering if there is anything else I should be looking at fixing? Does the ground wires on the chassis have anything to do with the low 12v?        SAU.avi
    • My lord that is some low oil pressure as minimum in the manual! I guess the big part will be seeing how it changes as the engine gets more spirited use.
