Patt, got my car running, took it for a spin.

stock turbo, Gtr cooler and stock airbox.

spool was f**king LOUD, it came on about 2.5k rpm and came on hard, a lot harder than my old 32 which would come on at 3.2k and not as hard and whisper quiet.

Sounds like a dump pipe gasket leak or failing turbo.

Stock air box with stock turbo is pretty quiet as you mentioned. Check for gasket leaks

Hook up a boost gauge and see if its not going past 10psi

Well there is a gasket leak somewhere, it blew exhaust gas through the shifter hole lol
